Educational Qualification:- Candidates who have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education/equivalent will be considered for WBPRB Excise Constable recruitment.

Language Proficiency :- Candidates must be able to read, write & speak in Bengali language (except Darjeeling & Kalimpong Districts).

Physical Standards:-

(i) Height:-

Male-167 cm(for all categories), 160 cm(Gorakhas, Garhwali’s, Rajbanshis & ST)

Female-160 cm(for all categories), 152 cm(Gorakhas, Garhwalies, Rajbanshis & ST)

(ii) Chest:-

Male-78-83 cms(for all categories) & 76-81 cms(Gorakhas, Garhwali’s, Rajbanshis & ST)

(iii) Weight:-

For Both(Male /Female)-Proportionate to Height(as per Medical Standards)
